On April 24, 2016 ,
David W. Veloso passed away peacefully in his sleep. Dave was born in Baltimore, MD on December 21, 1952. He graduated from Calvert Hall College and went on to a long and successful career in air balancing, an engineering specialty, and continued this by starting his own testing and balancing firm in 1994. Dave is survived by two children, Ryan Veloso and his wife Lisie; Seth Veloso and his wife Mandy and their son River; his former wife and business partner Janice Heald Veloso; his sister Tess Veloso; and many family members and close friends both here in the States and in the Philippines. Dave is preceded in death by his parents Godofredo Bernabe Veloso and Mary Therese Baumgartner Veloso. Dave leaves behind a legacy of always putting others before himself, always willing to help friends and family. Dave always loved to go fishing. Although there usually wasn’t much catching, he loved to be out on the water with his feet kicked back. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to River’s college fund. An informal memorial service and light lunch will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2016 at Mercy High School, at 11:30am.
As Dave was never one for getting all dressed up, attire will be totally casual with Hawaiian shirts being completely acceptable!
We will begin with a short memorial service in the school lobby to honor Dave and then follow with a reception in the cafeteria. 
Everyone is welcome to stay.
