My sincere condolences to you and your family. I pray you find comfort. The bible gives a hope for mankind. At Revelation 21:4, "and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, nor out cry, nor pain be anymore. The former things has passed away.

I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that Thomas and the Campbell, Gemmell family and friends are feeling because of losing Jeanne recently in death. Most of us have had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. I know it will do the same for you. Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can ring some comfort during this time.
