My sincere condolences to you and your family. I pray that you find comfort. The bible gives a hope for mankind at Revelation 21:4, "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor out cry, nor pain be anymore.

I want to express my sincerest sympathy to Patricia and the Samios-Uy family and friends because of losing Bert recently in death. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40 and John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.
