Joan Mary (Belvin) Bieschke

Joan Mary Bieschke (nee, Belvin), age 86 of Nottingham, MD passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019. She was born on May 16, 1933 in Baltimore, Maryland to Henry Bernerd Belvin and Katherine Agnes Belvin (nee, Kettlewell).

Joan grew up in Baltimore, MD where she established her career at Franklin Square Hospital as a medical records clerk; She graduated in 1951 from Catholic High School in Baltimore, MD. She then went on to take college courses at Essex Community College on medical terminology and genealogy. Researching her family’s genealogy became a life long hobby for Joan along with sewing, ceramics, and gardening. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

Joan was the loving wife of, Robert “Bob” Bieschke for 66 years. She was the beloved mother Robert W. Bieschke and his wife Trish, John H. Bieschke and his wife Michelle, and Stephen P. Bieschke and his wife Connie; cherished “Momma Joan” of Jessica, Robert, Kendall, Brian, Sean, Mickenzie, Michael, and Jacob; dear Great Grandmom of Dylan, Colt, Scarlett, and Thomas. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friend.

Friends and family will gather to honor Joan’s life at Marzullo Funeral Chapel, 6009 Harford Rd, Baltimore MD 21214 on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 for from 3pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm. A prayer service will be held at St. Ursula’s Catholic Church, 8801 Harford Rd. Parkville MD. On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, beginning at 10am. Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
