You’ve taught me many things in the world and one of which was to never dim my self down for anyone or anything! I was such a quiet misunderstood person before I met you and you helped me find who I am and who I was meant to be. I keep everything you’ve given me so close to me and I will forever. Its almost been a year and it’s been the hardest year to face without you! I love and miss you Rachel Lynn! My condolences go to mom and dad I talk to them as much as I can and in 2 weeks I’ll be spending the night with them! Gone but never forgetten!

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved daughter. None of us is immune to such pain. We can draw comfort from the Holy Scriptures at John 5:28-29 when Jesus Christ promises a time is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. This is the promise of the resurrection. The thought of seeing, hearing, and being able to hug loved one again brings such comfort. For more information go to www.jw.org.

After I read about Rachel's recent death after just 27 way too short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Edenton family and friends. I know Rachel has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18), understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But Jehovah God promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all. Rev. 21: 4; tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26) Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection (John 5: 28, John 6: 40, John 11:23-25) I offer my sincere condolences to the family. I send my deepest condolences to you and your family. It sadden me deeply when I learned of Rachel's passing. I still have the cross she gave me when she successfully completed with me; even though we are not suppose to accept gifts. I will keep it near and dear.
