Shaun "Beau" Swisher

On Thursday, October 3, 2019, Shaun “Beau” Swisher, loving father of 3 children, passed away at the young age of 33. 

Beau was born at Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, Maryland on July 28, 1986 to William and Cynthia Swisher. He graduated from Kent Island High School with the class of 2004 and went on to pursue his career in IT, as he was naturally gifted in the field. He met the loves of his life, Katie Timms and her 6 month old son Dylan, in 2009 and they went on to have 2 beautiful girls together, Aubrey (6) and Hailey (5). 

Beau was a passionate soul and had a very fond heart for music and the arts. He started the band “Polaris” with his childhood best friend, Eric, at the ripe young age of 7 and grew to be quite the drummer over the next 11 years. He also enjoyed creating art and music on his computer. In addition, Beau had a love for nature and loved being outdoors. You could often find him hiking or enjoying the beach, which is also a fond memory his children have of him. He was known for his infectious smile and his generous heart. 

Beau was welcomed at the Pearly Gates by his Paternal Grandparents William & Francis Swisher, his Maternal Grandparents Charles Hair and Paula Lasher, his father William Swisher, his Fiancé and mother of his children, Katie Timms, and our Lord, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his Mother Cynthia Swisher, sister Sarah Swisher, 1 nephew James and 1 niece Jolene, his 3 children Dylan, Aubrey, and Hailey, and more aunts, uncles, and cousins that one can count on their fingers and toes. He is also survived by many, many friends whose hearts he had touched throughout his short life here on earth. 

A funeral service will be held for Shaun “Beau” Swisher on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1:30pm at Heritage Baptist Church in Annapolis, Md. Flowers and donations may be sent directly to the church: 1740 Forest Dr. Annapolis, MD 21401.
