God blessed Virginia with the gift of music. We are grateful to have known her as teacher, mentor, and friend. Her passionate commitment to sharing her gifts with the world throughout her life lives in our hearts and inspires us. We will never forget her and wish others who love her comfort as they remember her and celebrate her life.

I also was a student of Miss Reinecke at Trinity Prep. Every time I hear music I still today think of Miss Reinecke. She left a lot of people with the joy of music. My Mom, who was at Charlestown loved to hear her play. Thanks for the memories. God speed.

Thank you Sally for your kind words about Virginia. Yes, she does live on because as you said she instilled the love of music in you several years ago and so many others.

My family and I appreciate your expressions

What an amazing, long and music filled life Miss Reinecke led. She was always the teacher and patiently shared her love of music with several generations of students. I was fortunate to have had her as a music and glee club teacher at Trinity Preparatory School in the late 60's. When I learned of her death a musical reference came to mind from a Don McLean song, "The Day The Music Died". Indeed, for anyone who had her as a teacher, it has. She gave joy to so many people by generously sharing the gift of her musical talent. She will be missed.

Miss Reinecke was my music and Glee Club teacher at Trinity Preparatory School in Ilchester. I loved her and I will always treasure the memories of our Glee Club performances! I still sing some of the sons from My Fair Lady and Porgie and Bess!.......She was a concert Pianist who performed in many venues. I was fortunate to be able to attend some of her concerts at Charlestown in the beautiful chapel! God Speed Miss Reinecke and my condolences to her family!
