On Sunday February 9th Celeste Helen Breitenbach (Nee Schimunek) passed in Franklin Square Hospice following a massive stroke. She was born in 1938 the beloved daughter of Helen and Edward Schimunek and endeared wife of the late John G. Breitenbach.
A graduate of Seaton High School, Celeste was a free-lance writer for various papers. She enjoyed historical and artistic events, the theatre and edited the Parkville Bicentennial Paper. Though two of her sons John and Edward passed; she is survived by her loving son, Anthony Breitenbach.
In Her later years she had a devoted friendship with her Mr. Robert Altenburger and was close with her associates from St. Ursula’s Parish.
After the cremation Celeste will be interred with Jack at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens on 02/14/2025 following a mass at St. Ursula’s Roman Catholic Church at 12PM.
