Gail Pereira, 57, of Maryland, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at Montgomery Hospice, Casey House after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 10, 1957, in Ceylon, the daughter of Joseph Pereira and Lois Pereira.

She is survived by her brother Steuart Pereira of Maryland and his wife Virginia Pereira; niece of Lorraine Tait and her children Denny, Kelly and Jeffrey of Maine; cousin of James Wijeyesinghe of Australia, and many more family members scattered around the world.

Gail was an incredible person who touched many lives.  She also loved to travel and enjoyed shopping, gardening, cooking and simply spending time with her cats, friends and family.

At Gail’s request, a “Celebration of Life” gathering will be held at a later date.
