On September 28th, 2022 in Palm Coast, FL, Giovanna Jeanne Deffinbaugh (nee Trionfo) entered eternal life peacefully after a lengthy illness from kidney cancer. Born and raised in Baltimore, MD she was the oldest daughter of the late Joseph F. and Mary A. Trionfo. Upon graduating from The Catholic High School, she became a skilled hair stylist, yet an acumen for math led her to the Maryland auto trade working for many years at various car dealerships in accounting. She also owned a motor vehicle tag & title business before retiring to Florida. She enjoyed playing bingo, casino slots and being with family. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Deffinbaugh; devoted mother of Carl and Christopher (Wendy) Kaufman, cherished grandmother of Madison, Giovanna and great grandmother of Evi Jeanne Kaufman; loving sister of Phyllis, the late Joseph, Maurice and Christopher Trionfo and Carmela Miller; dear sister-in-law of Dale and Susan Trionfo, Theresa Coufal, J. Kenneth (Margaret), Steven, Scott (Denise) and the late Raymond Deffinbaugh; precious Godmother of Jeff Appel and Shelley Bennett; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, October 9 from 2-5PM. A mass of Christian burial to be held at St. Ursula Catholic Church, 8801 Harford Rd., Baltimore, MD 21234 at 11AM on Monday October 10. Interment at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
