Norma Ay, Baltimore, MD

Norma would like you to know she has received an amazing invitation to be reunited once again with her parents, loving husband Carl, her brother Jack, sister, Jane and son-in-law Randy.  Loved ones, she has not seen in quite some time.  It was an offer she simply could not refuse.  While she will miss those left behind very deeply, she knows that they will cherish all the amazing memories they have shared over the years. 

Norma L. Ay, 92 of Baltimore died peacefully on Tuesday October 27, 2015, at home after battling with cancer.  Norma was born December 19, 1922 in Baltimore. Maryland, the daughter of John and Edna Landis.

Norma had a love of books, flowers and music.  She also enjoyed crocheting in her free time.  She had an incredible life that she shared with her soul mate and husband of 62 years, Carl Conrad Ay Sr. also of Baltimore, Maryland.  Together they raised 3 children, Carl C. Ay Jr. of Brucetown, Virginia , Barbara A. McCready of Sykesville MD  and Jack L. Ay of Washington DC.

Norma is survived by her children Carl and daughter-in-law Carole, Barbara, and Jack and Son-in-law James Krebsbach.  Her sister Ann France of Baltimore, MD, her 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 am at the Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028, Sykesville Road Sykesville, Maryland 21784.  Entombment will follow in Mount View Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited and may call at the Zumbrun Funeral Home on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
